Description
A large annual bracket with a strongly shaggy rusty-yellow to reddish-brown surface, growing on living hardwoods.
Identification features
Fruitbody 10–30 cm or larger, bracket-shaped and thick. The surface is strongly shaggy; pores are rusty and fresh specimens may exude droplets.
