Description
A perennial hard bracket polypore with extremely dense white pores, often overgrown by algae or moss.
Identification features
Fruitbody about 3–21 cm wide, laterally attached and multilayered. The upper surface is whitish, grey to ochre, often greenish; the underside has very dense white pores.
