Description
A small greenish pinkgill with a yellow-green stem and gills that change from whitish to pink.
Identification features
Cap about 1.5–2.5 cm wide, green to greenish-brown, with a depressed centre and radially wrinkled surface. Gills are whitish at first, later pink. Stem is slender, yellow-green and hollow.
Identification checklist
Check the greenish cap and stem and the gills turning pink with maturity. Damaged areas may develop a bluish tone.

How to separate similar species
Gliophorus psittacinus can also be green but has a different waxy, often slimy structure. Entoloma is difficult; a photo alone is not always sufficient.
