Description
A golden-yellow to orange-brown slimy bolete with a ring, associated with larch.
Identification features
The pores are yellow and may brown when pressed; the ring is clear in young specimens.
Habitat
Under larch in mountain woodland, parks, and plantations.
Fruiting period
June, July, August, September, October
