Description
A brown-orange Tricholoma with a conspicuous woolly ring or collar on the stem; the source lists it as edible, while FungiTrail remains cautious.
Identification features
The cap is 3–15 cm wide, yellow- to orange-brown, initially sticky, later dry and smooth. The stout stem carries a conspicuous whitish woolly ring.
