Description
A small yellowish-brown bonnet that exudes orange-red juice from a damaged stem.
Identification features
Cap up to about 2.5 cm wide, bell-shaped with a bump, pale yellow-brown to olive. Stem is very slender, yellowish to orange and contains orange-red juice.

How to separate similar species

Habitat
Grows mainly in beech woodland from small woody debris beneath leaf litter, in summer and autumn.
