Description
A large white to cream bracket polypore on conifers, soft and fleshy when young, later harder and tough.
Identification features
Fruitbody about 5–15 cm wide and fairly thick, white, cream to yellowish, with a velvety surface. The underside has white to ochre irregular pores.
