Description
A yellow to orange-brown scalycap with a very sticky cap, growing on decayed woody debris and wood chips.
Identification features
Cap about 3–8 cm, lemon-yellow with a brown-orange centre, very sticky and sometimes with fibrous remnants. Gills change from pale yellow to brownish. Stem is paler above and reddish-brown toward the base.
