Description
A small ochre-brown oyster-shaped fungus with a flattened, laterally attached cap, often growing in overlapping tiers.
Identification features
The cap is semicircular, initially convex and later flattened to depressed, soft and ochre-brown. Gills radiate from the attachment point and darken with age. The stem is absent or rudimentary.
